2026 GENERAL Election: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
All Oregon counties will hold general elections on November 3, 2026. In Polk County, this includes local races for County Commission, County Assessor, and Soil & Water Conservation District; Local Mayors and City Councils; and State House and Senate seats.
We’re here to help you get to know our endorsed candidates, the dedicated people running for office who will serve all of Polk County with the priorities and values that align with our Democratic values.
Three ways to vote:
- By mail: To ensure your ballot is postmarked before 8:00pm election day, we encourage voters to mail ballots in EARLY—by October 27th. No postage is needed. You may request a hand-stamped postmark at your local post office.
- By Drop Box: Use a secure community drop box before 8:00pm on election day. Polk County drop box locations are open October 6 – November 3rd.
- In person: 850 Main Street, Room 201, Dallas, OR 97338-3179
Reminders:
You can register to vote, change your party affiliation, and track your ballot through the Secretary of State’s website. The deadline to register or change party affiliation is October 13th. All voters will get to vote in the general election regardless of party affiliation.
